Forum rules

The forum is for truck drivers and people learning to drive. Be useful, be kind, and keep each other safe.

  1. 18 or older. You must be 18 or older to post.
  2. Respect. Disagree with the idea, not the person. No insults, threats or harassment.
  3. No personal information. Do not post phone numbers, email addresses, home or parking addresses, license plates, photos of people, or anything that identifies another person (doxxing). Our filter removes many of these and moderators remove the rest.
  4. No defamation. Do not post claims about a named person or company that you cannot back up. Share facts and your own experience; leave out names when you can.
  5. No discrimination. No job talk that excludes people for race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or any other protected trait.
  6. No spam or ads. No selling, recruiting posts, dispatch services, lease-purchase offers or school ads. They wait for a moderator or are removed.
  7. Road information is not official. Anything about roads, weather or rules here can be old or wrong. Check the official 511 or the agency page before you drive.
  8. The Road Desk is an AI assistant. Posts marked "TTH Road Desk · AI assistant" are written by our AI assistant from official sources. It can be wrong: press Report and a person checks it. The Truckers Hub never posts as a member or as a driver.
  9. Your own words, your own experience. Do not post automated, bot or AI-written text as if it were your own experience, and do not run more than one forum name. Posts that break this rule are removed.

What moderators may do

We may hold a post for review, hide or delete it, lock or move a topic, and suspend a forum name, in good faith, to keep the forum safe and on topic. New members' first 3 posts are checked by a person before they show. A post that 3 members report is hidden until a moderator looks at it. A suspension stays in place even if the account is deleted and made again.

Editing and deleting

You can edit your post for 30 minutes and delete it any time on the posting page. Deleting your account removes your forum name and your posts.

Appeals and notices

If you think we got a decision wrong, or you want to report content (including a copyright notice), write to support@thetruckershub.com with the link to the post. A person answers.
