Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026 (optional profile answers, home-page videos and tips added)
The Truckers Hub ("we") runs thetruckershub.com, a jobs network that introduces truck drivers to carriers in the USA and Canada. This page explains, in plain words, what we do with your information.
What we collect
- Driver application form. Your name, phone, email, state or province, license class, endorsements, years of experience, the kind of job and home time you want, the language of the form, the date you sent it, and your "yes" to the consent sentence (we keep the exact wording you agreed to).
- Optional profile answers (only what you choose to fill in): whether you are authorized to work in the US or Canada (yes / no; this one is required), the state that issued your license and its expiry month and year, equipment and transmission you have driven, how many accidents and moving violations you had in the last 3 years and whether you had a DUI / DWI in the last 7 years (counts and yes / no only), whether you hold a DOT medical card or a TWIC card and can pass a DOT drug and alcohol test (yes / no only, never health details), where and when you want to work, the weekly pay you want, your English level, the languages you speak, military service and a short "About me". From these we work out a profile score and a few help links, shown to you on the thank-you page. We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, race, religion, health or disability, or immigration details.
- Your CV, if you upload one (PDF, Word, JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB). It may contain more about you, such as your address, work history or license details. Only upload what you are happy for us to read.
- Carrier form. Company name, USDOT / MC (or NSC / CVOR) number, the contact person's name, work email and phone, where you hire, how many drivers you need and your message.
- Emails you send us at support@thetruckershub.com.
- Technical data. To stop spam, we count how many forms come from one connection in an hour. For this we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for at most one hour; it is not stored with your application. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure.
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads or tracking scripts.
Emails we send after a form. When you send a form, we send one confirmation email to the address you gave, and our team gets a copy of your form by email, with your CV attached if you uploaded one (only to our own support mailbox, never to anyone else). These emails are sent through Resend (resend.com), our email processor, which handles your name, email address, the email text and the attached CV only to deliver them. Our emails have no tracking pixels and no tracked links.
Bot check on the forms. The application and carrier forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a quick check that you are a person (usually you only see a small box with a tick). For that check only, your browser loads a script from Cloudflare, and Cloudflare processes technical signals such as your IP address, browser (User-Agent) and connection details. Cloudflare says Turnstile “never looks for cookies (like a login cookie), or uses cookies to collect or store information of any kind” (Cloudflare blog, 2022) and that the purpose of these signals “is not to identify, profile or target any individuals” (Turnstile Privacy Addendum). We only receive a pass or fail answer; it is not stored with your application. Turnstile is not used on any other page.
Videos on the home page. The home page shows a few YouTube videos. Until you press play, your browser loads only a small preview picture from YouTube’s image server (i.ytimg.com, which receives your IP address like any web server; no cookies are set by us). When you press play, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com, Google’s privacy-enhanced mode, and from then on Google’s privacy policy applies to that video. No other page embeds YouTube.
Tips. The "Support The Truckers Hub" button on the home page opens a payment page run by Stripe. Stripe processes the payment and the card details under Stripe’s privacy policy; we never see or store your card number. We receive only what Stripe shows a seller (amount, date, and the name and email you give Stripe), which we keep for our business and tax records. Tips are optional, are not tax-deductible donations, and do not change how we treat any application.
How we use it
- Drivers: to look for jobs that fit you and to contact you about them by email or phone, and to share your application and CV with trucking companies that match what you asked for, so they can contact you by email or phone. You agree to this with the checkbox on the form (we keep the exact sentence), and you can ask us to stop at any time.
- How sharing works (two steps). First we send an anonymous summary of your application (state or province, licence class, endorsements, years of experience, the kind of job and home time you want, and three strengths taken from your answers) to trucking companies that match what you asked for. The summary has no name, phone, email or CV. Your contact details and CV are shown only to a company that first accepts our referral terms for you (a referral agreement with us: it may use your details only to recruit you, may not pass them on, and must delete them within 90 days if it does not hire you).
- If a company tells us it hired you, we send you one congratulations email with first-week tips and an optional review form. We show a review on this site only if you tick the box that allows it.
- Carriers: to contact you, to send you anonymous summaries of matching drivers (every such email has a link to stop them), to show a driver's full profile after you accept our terms, to keep a record of that acceptance (time, a coded form of the IP address, the terms version, and the signer's name and title) and of hires, and to agree on and collect our fee.
- To answer your emails, and to keep the forms safe from spam and abuse.
Who sees it
- Our small team, only to do the work above.
- Trucking companies (carriers) that match the job you asked for: they get the anonymous summary. Only matching trucking companies that have accepted a referral agreement with us (our terms) for you see your name, contact details and CV, so they can contact you about a job. To stop this, reply to any of our emails or write to support@thetruckershub.com; we stop sharing from then on and their profile links stop working. A company that already received your details must follow our terms and its own privacy rules.
- Service providers that store or carry data for us: Cloudflare (website, forms and file storage), Zoho Mail (our mailbox) and Resend (sends our automatic emails). They may not use your data for anything else.
- Authorities, only if the law requires it.
What we never do
- We never sell your information.
- We never show a driver's name, contact details or CV to a company that has not accepted our terms, or after the driver asked us to stop.
- We never tell companies which language you used on our forms.
- We do not run background checks, driving-record checks or drug tests. Carriers do their own, with your permission.
- We do not send marketing emails unless you asked for them, and every such email will let you stop them.
Where it is kept and for how long
Form answers and CVs are stored in private Cloudflare storage (Workers KV) that has no public web address; only our team can open it. Applications and CVs are also delivered to our support mailbox at Zoho Mail (the copy of each form our team gets by email, with the CV attached). Each form and CV is deleted automatically 12 months after you send it, both in our storage and in our mailbox, or sooner if you ask us. If we are still helping you then, we may ask you to apply again. Carrier details we copy into our own records are kept while we work together and for the time the law requires us to keep business records. Records of which company received which summary are kept 12 months; a company's acceptance of our terms and any reported hire are kept 3 years (proof for our fee); reviews are kept 2 years. Profile links in our emails stop working after 14 days.
Jobs from other sites
Our Jobs pages list job ads collected by Adzuna. When you click one, you leave our site and the other site's privacy policy applies. We do not send your details to Adzuna or to the job's site; the click itself may tell them you came from The Truckers Hub.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we have about you, correct it, or delete all of it (including your CV), and you can ask us to stop sharing your details with trucking companies (or simply reply to any of our emails). Email support@thetruckershub.com with the subject "Privacy" from the email address you used in the form. We reply within 30 days.
Children
The Truckers Hub is for adults looking for driving jobs and for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we delete any application we learn came from someone under 18.
Changes
When we change what we collect or how we use it, we update this page first and change the date above.
